Artist's Comments

At last it's finished.

The download is a zipped, fully illustrated and informative, 17 page PDF tutorial designed for beginners. The first part covers many Apophysis tips, including saving, editing and applying scripts, using hotkeys, mutating and transforming, saving parameters, changing gradients and rendering (using both HQI and Apophysis).

The second part contains information regarding Photoshop manipulation and recovery. Covered topics include basic color correction examples, using filters, layer techniques and a few other tips and hints designed to help beginners.

To view the pdf, you will need to have Adobe Acrobat Reader 6.0 or higher installed. [link]

If you have any questions, please let me know by contacting me by note, email, or instant messenger. If it has helped you, please come back and fav it.

UPDATE:

I have written a second and more in depth tutorial that is a good follow up to this one. Or, if you feel comfortable with the interface and would like to learn better commands, go straight HERE!

Awesome tutorial! Next time someone asks me how I do it I'll point them to your tutorial our methods are very similar. I have only started using Photoshop to play with the renders in the past couple weeks but I learned some good tips from your second part.
