Those of you who watch my scraps might remember when I started this project and I posted what I "thought" I was a mid-point. [link] Now, many many hours later, it's complete. Looking back, it's pretty obvious that I wasn't even close to half way done at that point. LOL it was just too much fun to stop!
It was all etched on a black 8x10 Ampersand Claybord, so the white could show through. I hate to know how many hours I put into it total, in fact, my husband said I'd never be able to sell it for what it's worth in time value alone, so I guess that means I'll be keeping this in my personal collection
All along I was saying "it's just a doodle to pass the time." but now that it's done, I think it might be a little more than that
You've gotten already alot of comments for this Sya, you've got beautiful work. For this piece I find it so intricately beautiful and so much seems to be going in the picture. The strokes and lines ooze with such intricacy and is the whole piece overall is well composed. I feel when i stare it i can see many things going on in the picture from a party mask to feathers to a peacock.
although this is your featured deviation it wasn't cause of that that i noticed it, i trawled through your impressive gallery (even though i'm not a supreme favourite of fractals i can recognise talent when i see it) to find this passing great abstract works along the way
for pure hardwork and graft i'm faving this - aside from the fact it's a black and white abstract work (my main love) it's also an etching - fair play to you girl - well done
Cheers and much love,
