the straight end! the other ends a handle till you reach it

SOrry for those who disagree, but you would have to be crazy to not eat the stick first. besides having a peppermint weapon of death (when the stick end gets sharp -lol) you will also get a really cool treat when you finally eat the curved end, it fits in your mouth right around your tongue. as if it was meant to be eaten that way.

I don't actually like candy canes *gasp* but if I did, 'd eat the straight end, so you could hold on to the curved end

I haven't had a candy cane in years, but I could never open the wrapping, so I broke off the curved bit and ate that, then moved on to the stick part.
